COMPONENTS OF CUPLOCK SYSTEM
- Vertical/standards components
These are vertically placed components with fixed cup at Intervals. They are primary load taking structure of the Cuplock system.
- Horizontal/ ledger components.
They are horizontally placed components which is connected to the Vertical to form the framework. They provide the lateral stability.
- Transoms
They are horizontal components which I placed parallel to the ledgers to give supports to the placement of walking platform.
- Decking and planks
They are the walking platform on which labour can walk.
- Base plates and adjustable base jack
Base plates distribute the load on larger surface area. And base jack gives option to adjust the platform on un even ground.
